Robert's Precision Engineering is an established Aerospace machine shop located in the city of Anaheim. We manufacture structural components to the military and commercial aerospace industry. Specializing in 3-5 axis machining of complex parts and assemblies.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a 30 man aerospace machine shop. We are Boeing, Northrop and Lockheed approved. QA manager will be responsible to ensure the established AS9100 quality system is implemented and maintained. Responsibilities include managing the day to day quality activities, interacting with customers as needed, and making decisions on quality related issues.

QUALITY MANAGER DUTIES:

SERVE AS POINT OF CONTACT FOR CUSTOMER QUALITY ISSUES. RESPOND TO CUSTOMERCORRECTIVE ACTION REQUESTS. CONDUCT ROOTCAUSE ANALYSIS AND COMPLETE THE CORRECTIVE ACTION RESPONSE.

ASSIST OR DIRECT PRODUCTION OF DAILY MECHANICAL PARTS INSPECTION OF PRECISION MACHINED PARTS.

KEEP THE TEAM UPDATED WITH SUPPLIER AND CUSTOMER QUALITY ISSUES.

ENSURES THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REMAINS SUITABLE AND EFFECTIVE

SUPERVISE OR PERFORM CMM PARTS INSPECTION.

PARTICIPATE IN CUSTOMER PRODUCT SOURCE INSPECTION IF REQUIRED.

REVIEW AND APPROVE INTERNAL PLANNING, MATERIAL AND OUTSIDE PROCESSING PURCHASE ORDERS.

REVIEW INCOMING MATERIAL AND PROCESSING CERTIFICATIONS FOR COMPLIANCE TO AEROSPACE STANDARDS.

COMPLETE OR REVIEW AS9102 FIRST ARTICLE DIMENSIONAL INSPECTION TO SUPPORT OUR MACHINE SHOP.

DIMENSIONALLY INSPECT PRECISION MACHINED PARTS USING MICS, SURFACE PLATE INSPECTION TECHNIQUES, CMM TOOLS, OPTICAL COMPARATOR, THREAD AND PLUG GAGES.

UPDATE AND MAINTAIN CALIBRATION AND MACHINE MAINTENANCE LOG

UPDATE AND MAINTAIN VENDOR AS9100/ NADCAP CERTIFICATION LOG.

WORK CLOSELY AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE TEAM TO ACHIEVE HIGH QUALITY MACHINE PRODUCTS AND PRODUCTION GOALS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
