Job Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist ensures that all printed material purchased by ICS Corporation on behalf of its clients is produced in accordance with the client’s expectations regarding stock, color quality and adherence to their brand standards. This person will also ensure that the material is produced in accordance with the ICS Purchase Order.
Responsibilities:
- Verify that print quantities are sufficient to complete the campaign and provide enough overage to the ICS production departments
- Verify that Flesh tones or corporate logo match colors.
- Check overall color balance across the sheet
- Check print content (looking for missing elements and confirming copy changes)
- Check registration (checking sharpness, color overlapping, edges of images and screened type)
- Review work orders to ensure that they are produced in accordance with client instructions
- Ensure correct materials are noted and in the correct insertion order
- Ensure mail quantities are correct across the entire campaign as well as individual campaign production lot
- Assist Sales and Business Development efforts in conducting tours and presentation

- Team-oriented management style with demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be capable of communicating and working with people at all levels of the organization
