Quality Improvement Coordinator - Entry Level
Job description
Pinnacle Medical Group is recruiting for Quality Improvement Coordinators in the Fontana clinic. The ideal candidates will have experience with various health plans and be familiar how to interpret patient records. Medical Assistant and Bilingual Spanish preferred. Duties include but are limited to the following:
- Review patient records for data that pertains to HEDIS, 5 Stars, P4P, Risk Adjustment, etc.
- Electronically record data for collection, storage, analysis, retrieval, and reporting
- Use EMR system to assign clinical codes or create reports for data tracking and analysis
- Verify and update eligibility through multiple health plan’s electronic systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Schedule appointments in electronic system
- Prepare routine reports, and request medical records
- Assist in outreach programs & projects
- Assist with any new and existing projects that pertain to the department
- Protect patients’ health information for confidentiality, authorized access for treatment, and data security.
