A boutique real estate law firm in Evanston is seeking a professional and organized Real Estate Paralegal to add to their team. The Real Estate Paralegal will support the lead attorney in lease negotiations, condominium litigation, condominium conversion, and commercial leasing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail oriented Real Estate Paralegal to make an impact with a great firm. The salary for this role is $45k-75k/yr commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities of the Real Estate Paralegal:

• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and leases; review real estate contracts for accuracy
• Support litigation cases administratively
• Manage the closing and post-closing processes
• Manage communication with clients; provide updates and service on a regular basis
• Review and process loan fund payment requests
• Interface with title companies and escrow agents for all project escrow
• Draft and prepare documents, obtain appropriate signatures, and type and process all written communication
• Coordinate and prepare materials or make arrangements for special projects as requested
• Process contract deviations for third-party agreements
• Various duties as requested

Requirements of the Real Estate Paralegal:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years of legal experience or administrative experience along with the ability to be trained on the legal process
• Experience in residential real estate law preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly attentive to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
