The impact you’ll make:

Administer all functionalities associated with Avis, Budget or Payless Brands may include car or prepay rental business. Coordination of daily settlements, payments, account reconciliation of all types, month end close tasks including monthly deadlines. Daily responsibility to answer/defend chargebacks for prepay.

What you’ll do:

• Reconcile credit cards daily, update reconciliation log in a timely fashion.
• Use detailed excel spreadsheets, pulling reports to ensure balancing.
• Oversee all Credit Club Bank accounts, receiving payments on time & if not received report issue immediately to management.
• Reconcile AR books and post payments to open receivables monthly by Oracle.
• Log chargebacks from statements to appropriate GL accounts for each card type through AMP portal.
• Responsible for prepay & assisting third party chargeback vendors for Avis, Budget & Payless. Also may include Pay Pal & Amazon for all credit card types.
• Daily research & investigating for all chargeback cases
• Responsible for attaching all documentation to support any incoming disputes, writing clear and concise responses to each bank and meeting all daily deadlines to avoid financial loss.
• Defend each dispute or follow guidelines set for positive outcomes.
• Responsible for all reversals, pre-compliance, pre-arbitration and good faith collection cases.
• Stay familiar with all changing credit club rules and regulations to avoid errors. Chargeback locations for non-compliance or uncollected items.
• Perform month-end duties

What we’re looking for:

• Equivalent Education Level: High School Diploma. Associates Degree in Business/Accounting preferred
• Experience Required: 1 year customer service and accounting experience; strong bookkeeping/accounting skills, as well as good verbal and communication skills
• Strong customer service skills. Must be PC literate (MS Office) & strong Excel skills; knowledge of banking rules and regulations helpful. Chargeback experience a plus.
