The Records Coordinator is responsible for section of Product Management as well as billing responsibilities for Product Management.

In this role, you’ll:
· Maintain billing spreadsheet for monthly billing purposes. Partner with Business Operations as the departmental SME for all billing issues for Product Management.
- Facilitate transfer of all necessary paperwork for billing.
· Maintain billing accuracy by timely completion of credits, service charges, specimen pickups, etc.
· Review, investigate and resolve unit disposition as it pertains to tracking, traceability and billing for units that need to be electronically assigned.
· Review for completeness and sort for storage Hospital Services packing and return slips and other relevant reports/paperwork.
- Report and record paperwork and Stoplight errors committed by Hospital Services staff
- Maintain Product Management paperwork. This includes sending documents for scanning digital storage.
- Reconcile import and export spreadsheets for out of region shipments and imports.
- Reconcile and store RMW manifests.
- Serves as a contact and SME for billing.
- Maintains BCA dashboard for salvage shipment clients.
- Maintain records for salvage and research shipments.
- Enforces The Blood Center’s EEO, Affirmative Action and Safety/Health.
· Additional duties as assigned.
We need someone who has:
· Two-year associate degree from an accredited institution or 2 years on-the-job experience in a billing and accounting field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
