Overview:
The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing and selecting qualified applicants for exempt and non-exempt positions throughout the company. The Recruiter is responsible for having a good understanding of all positions and a basic understanding of Internova Travel Group’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of our policies and procedures. Persons in this role must stay abreast of and be in compliance with all federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Recruiter will also be responsible for the entire new hire and onboarding process in addition to general human resources administration.

Recruitment Responsibilities:
- Serves as the central resource for all recruitment activities for exempt and non-exempt positions (including executive level hires).
- Ensures the company attracts, hires, and retains the best talent while growing a strong talent pipeline through various recruitment tools and methods.
- Partners with the hiring managers to define position and recruitment strategy.
- Reviews, screens and interviews qualified and diverse candidates and coordinates the interview process for hiring managers.
- Acts as a liaison with area employment agencies, vendors, colleges, and professional associations to proactively search for candidates.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal laws in regards to recruitment, applicant tracking, interview questions etc.
- Partners with Director, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Business Partners (when necessary) to determine compensation and offer details.
- Performs on-boarding responsibilities including background checks and coordinates with HR Specialists to ensure all new hire paperwork are sent timely.
- Identifies process improvements related to all areas of responsibility.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of company policies, procedures and commonly accepted business practices to effectively answer questions and requests relating to Benefits, HR, Payroll and Time Reporting.
- Maintains and utilizes reports to identify trends and make recommendations for overall process improvements.
- Researches, recommends, and implements creative recruitment techniques as needed.
- Partners with legal on candidates that need assistance in the H1-B sponsorship process by gathering all immigration documents, processes appropriate paperwork for the H1-B program and manages the posting and interviewing process for market testing.
General Administration:
- Generate Wage Notices as required by State.
- Provides support to HR Specialist on onboarding process when needed.
- Assists with special HR projects as requested.
- Creates ad hoc reporting including headcount reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- College degree with concentration in Human Resources preferred.
- 3+ years of recruitment experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to successfully source talent through various tools and social media including LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
- Must be able to build influential relationships with candidates and all levels of management within the company.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills (analyzing information and troubleshooting problems) with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably iCIMS.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
