Pafford Medical Services is currently accepting applications and resumes for Registered Nurses interested in working within our communications center and telemedicine center based in Hope, Arkansas.

Job Overview

• Utilize telecommunication technology such as video, phone, email, and messaging to provide high-quality care to out-of-hospital patients.
• Receive voice and video communications from paramedics and emergency medical technicians to coordinate care for out-of-hospital patients.
• Provide case management and patient following for patients after ambulance transport or on scene treatment.
• Coordinate care with physician, hospital, home healthcare, mid-level providers, pharmacy, community transportation entities and other community agencies.
• Communicate with patients and patient families during and following EMS response.
• Follow pre-determined EMS treatment protocols and assist EMS physicians and team leadership with further development of policies and protocols.

Job Requirements

• A strong desire to provide exceptional medical care and customer service to the patients we are entrusted to care for.
• The ability to work closely with paramedics and EMT's during stressful pre-hospital response situations.
• Registered Nurse- Arkansas Licensed
• Emergency Room or Pre-Hospital EMS experience (Minimum of 3 years)
• CPR Healthcare Provider
• ACLS (can be provided through Pafford education)
• PALS (can be provided through Pafford education)
• Able to communicate the English language fluently during verbal and written communicaiton.
• A strong understanding or the ability to learn EMS protocols, rules and regulations for a multi-state region.
• A strong understanding of risk management initiatives.
• 12 hours shifts to include weekends, holidays, special occasions (FT & PT Available)
• During times of disaster could require prolonged hours or additonal shifts
