ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision is looking to add a news reporter to join our team.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Responsible for Investiative planning, producing and reporting in Spanish for our multiplatform news products
- Be the on-air representative of the station’s consumer and investigative effort
- Ability to think on your feet during live shots and great story telling skills
- Gather news information and prepare if for on air delivery, for on line and for mobile applications
- Must be able to work well under strict deadlines
- Stong knowledge of social networking in regards to content gathering and distribution
- Able to work long hours and a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, when necessary
- Strong knowledge of journalistic ethics and laws
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelors Degree in Communicaitons or Journalism required
- 5+ years TV reporting experience in Spanish Language Broadcasting preferred
- Investigative and consumer affairs reporting experience is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach and sit for up to (8) hours
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
