Job Title: Research Grants Project Manager
Reports to: PRCCI Executive Director
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Purpose
PRCCI is a dynamic, successful 401c3 non-profit subsidiary of PRSTRT, which launched in April 2016. All current employees get involved in a lot of different aspects of the organization and everyone is contributing to the overall success of the company. We are looking for an energetic and hands- on addition to our team, who can help us improve our operational excellence, whilst contributing to taking PRCCI to the next level of its ambitious goals. The Project Manager is a resourceful, detail-oriented, and collaborative team member with excellent client and people management skills. Their primary role is to organize and develop grants and proposals and guide them through the funding process and execution. Will work with other team members to meet business goals. The Project Manager will interact with the team responsible for the implementation of the grant daily to achieve the established timelines. This individual is responsible for managing all aspects of the grant development process including planning, budgeting, writing, submitting, and tracking grants. Will also have direct supervisory responsibility for project coordinators, employees, and contractors.

Qualifications Skills & Job Requirements:
- experience in a clinical trials research setting as a data manager/CRA/CRC/regulatory specialist/another similar title. Graduation from a professional/continuing education program with a certificate related to clinical trials and/or healthcare regulations. Advanced degree desired.
- Experience in and/or knowledge of public policy, social services, nonprofits, and/or intergovernmental affairs preferred
- Prior experience as grant administrator, handling large and small-scale projects simultaneously, utilizing project management tools and methods for planning and implementation of desired
- Strong planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and diplomacy skills when interacting with clients
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Results-driven and highly organized with superior attention to detail and excellent follow-up
- Manages time effectively by prioritizing tasks, and managing competing priorities
- Applies new skills and concepts quickly and displays a willingness to learn and improve
- Maintains a calm and positive attitude while meeting deadlines and tight turnaround times
- Demonstrates flexibility in responding to business demands and varying requests with ease
- Ability to understand and follow directions, policies & procedures, and work independently with little direct supervision
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and proficiency with Excel, and financial statements
- Superior working knowledge of office applications and online collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Suite, Google products, SharePoint, One Drive, Dropbox, Adobe PDF, DocuSign, Zoom, etc.
- Familiarity with online grant applications is a plus
- Ability to learn and use company-specific software
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, and initiative.
- Fully bilingual: Written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish is required
- A strong work ethic, ability to maintain and model high personal, ethical, and professional standards, as well as an outgoing and positive personality
- Occasionally will be required to work outside regular business hours to complete special projects and reports or to attend company events.
