Position Description: Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)
**Work Location: Atlanta, GA **
Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview
Job Description:
This is an hourly salary rate position at a minimum of 40 hours a week. Hours could include night work based on project assignments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of on-site quality control tests, inspections, and project-specific observations/evaluations
- Monitor and inspect roadway construction to ensure overall compliance regarding plans, safety, and contract requirements
- Conduct record-keeping to ensure all necessary observations are documented
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and client representatives
- Interpret and work from drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roadway testing
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
- Candidate should be a Georgia Department of Transportation RTT Certified Technician
- Possess a valid/current state driver’s license
- ACI certification is required
- Radiation safety training for the use of Nuclear Density Gauge is required
