Position Title: Router Operator
Department: Production
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm 2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY/OBEJECTIVE:
Employees who use the CNC Router/Zund to cut merchandise to client-specified measurements are responsible for maintaining and cleaning the CNC Router/Zund unemployed and testing the accuracy of the machine. When cutting merchandise, the employee must use the computer software to create the path of cutting
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate CNC Router/Zund
• Maintain and keep CNC Router/Zund clean and operational
• Cut merchandise to fulfill Work Order specifications

• Upkeep in the Router/Zund area

• Coordinate with the Production Managers and Press operators to the status of jobs and the work that will need to be done

• Checking and moving merchandise in stage management

• Check that all information regarding Work Order/merchandise is correct before accepting job, perform Router/Zund duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order/merchandise before giving the job to the next stage of Production

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURSOF WORK:

• Full time / 40 hours weekly

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent experience required

• 2+ years’ experience working with CNC Router/Zund

• Experience using Enroute, Adobe Illustrator and I-Cut Programs

• Safety goggle must be worn while merchandise is being cut on Router

• Ability to stand throughout shift and lift 50 pounds, without straining
