Scale Master - Longview, WA

Summary/Purpose:

Operates a truck scale and related computer software to weigh inbound and outbound materials; maintain records and data entry associated with tracking the incoming and outgoing materials; provides instructions for loading and unloading of materials within the plant; and performs related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Records inbound and outbound weights of semis
• Uses computer system to print picking tickets and other order information
• Creates or modifies sales and purchase orders as needed
• Fulfil orders using NetSuite
• Accurately process paperwork from incoming and outgoing loads
• Provides a variety of information and instruction to truck drivers entering and leaving the facility grounds
• Works closely with other plant personnel to get loads loaded or unloaded in a timely and efficient manner
• Uses CB and other communication devices to communicate with truck drivers and plant employees
• Check outbound loads for product accuracy and quality control

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to reach, squat, bend repeatedly.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to sit, stand, climb, kneel as needed throughout the shift.

Pay: Hourly, to be determined
