1-800-HANSONS, LLC is looking for a dynamic, service focused individual to join our Scheduling team.
The Scheduling Analyst is responsible for managing the schedule for home remodeling installation jobs for designated locations. This person will monitor and track the availability of the customer and the installation crew to ensure that scheduled work can occur as needed and within the availability of both parties. The Scheduling Analyst will determine the installation needs of the customer and reviews the installation crew’s abilities and limitations to make sure the best crew for the job is scheduled. This person will need to ability to problem solve, forecast, and think strategically about the best and most efficient way to schedule installation jobs to ensure completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as problem solving skills and a drive to get things done.
Essential Duties/Major Accountabilities:
1. Communicating with customers in regards to their availability for installation of their purchases
2. Use the company’s scheduling technology system to schedule installers according to their availability
3. Communicate with installation crews to determine their availability to work on assigned projects
4. Monitor and track the availability of the customer and the installation crew
5. Enter data into the computer system
6. Resolve scheduling conflicts or problems as they occur, or work with leadership for assistance
7. Forecast scheduled availability and job assignment
8. Pro-actively analyze gaps in the schedule and/or opportunities to efficiently get jobs scheduled
9. Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and crews in order to influence and obtain cooperation
10. Make recommendations for system improvements that will increase efficiencies
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience
- High-School diploma or GED
- Detail oriented
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Great organizational skills
- Able to multi-task well
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with demand scheduling and forecasting
- Experience in the logistics field
- Call Center or similar experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Requires the ability to move about inside the office
- Must be able to move items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the public
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
