POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join our Global IT Security Team. This position is responsible for identifying, handling, and responding to security incidents and supports to remediate weaknesses with tools used in IT security operations team in order to protect dormakaba's business activities.

**This position can be REMOTE, located anywhere in US**

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Responds and manages security incidents and vulnerabilities for all dormakaba users and Global IT Infrastructure
• Has a good understanding of the cyber security threat landscape, including technical knowledge about prevalent vulnerabilities, threats, attack methods, and infection vectors.
• Communicates directly with asset owners and keeps all apprised of potential issues
• Coordinates international teams and stakeholders
• Analyzes log data, network traffic and/or alerts generated by a variety of security technologies in real-time.
• Researches new threats and ensure appropriate detection capabilities are in place to identify and respond to these threats
• Takes an active part recommending and supporting containment, eradication, recovery response actions
• Supports continuous improvement of SOC processes, controls, guidelines, and procedures
• Provides input for use case creation and tuning recommendations to improve SOC functions for all SOC Tools, incl. OT Security (EDR, VM, SIEM, O365, Firewall/ Network monitoring appliances, Cloud monitoring) *Microsoft stack

REQUIREMENTS

• BS Degree in Computer Science or similar field, ideally with a focus on IT Security
• 3+ years’ work experience preferred
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively via telephone, multiple forms of electronic mediums, and within a group environment for business presentations
