We are looking for a collaborative Systems Engineer to join our New England Systems and Technology Group of about 17 systems engineers and designers and industry specialists with a wide variety of talent and experience. As our newest team member, you’ll play a supporting role in the development of plans, specifications and estimates for security, communications and intelligent transportation systems, and other systems engineering work tasks. Joining our team, you’ll have the chance to apply your experience to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your systems expertise to create innovative solutions.

Our team of multi-disciplinary experts is seeking a motivated candidate who will utilize their design knowledge to dream big ideas on various and complex security, intelligent transportation systems and communication system projects. We’d rely on your collaboration skills to coordinate interdisciplinary work as well as encourage to bring your fresh ideas to work every day.

You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive team as you design security, communication and intelligent transportation systems and assist in construction support and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of security systems and components, communication systems and networks. Operational Technology networks including Programmable Logic Controllers, servers/workstation, network switches and firewalls.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, Civil engineering or related field from an accredited program, university, or college. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Professional years of experience in the design and commissioning of security systems, intelligent transportation systems and communication networks
• Working knowledge of security and intelligent transportation systems, as well as communication networks
• Public sector clients in aviation, transit, and/or highway
• Specifications, plans and cost estimates for construction projects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Capable of working in a team environment, including giving and receiving critical feedback
• Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and owners and able to respond in a timely manner to their requests and needs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport self to site on short notice
