CES is looking for a skilled Instructional Coach to work with teachers with job-embedded coaching. This individual will support the professional growth and development of educational staff through in-person, blended, and remote individual and group professional development and coaching activities that result in improved educator practice and student outcomes. We engage inthis work pro-actively and purposefully, with the intent of positive outcomes, and because we need to.What You'll Do: Implement multi-day instructional coaching continuums with all teachersFacilitate teacher implementation of high leverage practices introduced and modeled in release-day professional development sessions and Afternoon WorkgroupsDocument coaching content and delivery using the SEIS Instructional Coaching Interaction (Google) FormRecommend structured opportunities for teachers to observe more experienced and skillful colleagues Provide and/or coordinate support for SEIS teachers in their role as special educatorsCo-plan and coordinate support for teacher skill development with other coaches, mentors and supervisorsProvide coaching for SEIS teachers, as appropriate, in the skills and strategies related to The Standards and Indicators of Effective Teaching, in a variety of educational settingsWe value: Quality and excellence, innovation, creativity and vision, inclusiveness, equity and diversity and collaboration with others. Creating a community of care is foundational to the work we dotogether!Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from accredited College or UniversityAppropriate Massachusetts special education license for age level and populationMinimum of three years teaching experience with Proficient or Exemplary evaluations Working knowledge of co-teaching in an inclusion settingMust have experience with Middleand High School instruction and teachingExperience with assistive technology tools and strategies and other accommodations Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skillsPreferred co-teaching experience in a special education settingPreferred experience teaching in an alternative, juvenile justice, or specialized setting Preferred background in coaching, supervision of teachersKnowledge of and commitment to principles and practices of social justice, equity, and inclusion Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are requiredPreferred qualifications: Masters degree in Education or related field, additional teaching license in core content areaWorkplace Health and Safety: CES employees working on site in DYS, DMH, DPH or CHC facilities are required to demonstrate that they have received COVID-19 vaccination.Compensation: Instructional Coach scale is based on licensure and education.Extensive Travel Required: Must have own vehicle.Mileage provided for travel.CES Benefits: CES offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Health, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and voluntary Short Term Disability, enhanced Vision and additional Life Insurance.
