A healthcare company in the Nashville are is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join their team. This role will be a hybrid of a business analyst and data analyst, with 30% of the responsibility being business analyst type skills, gathering technical requirement and the remainder 70% more SQL and EDW focused. This is a hybrid position with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.

• Responsible for coordinating across all IT functions on behalf of the business stakeholders to assist with ensuring business needs and value are captured, technology road maps are developed to align to needs, and products are delivered as planned.
• Will be supporting Business Intelligence, Supply Chain and ETL Processes.
• Responsible for requirements gathering, backlog management, backlog grooming and facilitating meetings for new requests.
• Communicates and understands requirements from both business and technical stakeholders.
• Works closely with the business leaders and Customer Engagement, Architecture and Planning, Quality Assurance and Product Development teams.
• Gathers customer input and feedback to support achievement of customer value and initiative profitability targets.
• Create analyses to identify continuous performance initiatives and effectively translate those analyses into actionable business insights
• Develop standard queries to define business metrics.
• Develop robust reporting to measure operational performance.
• Conduct routine analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improved performance.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in a data focused role, business analyst or data analyst
• Customer facing and communicating with developers and stakeholder
• Strong SQL experience: writing and adjusting user stories, retrieving tables, running and writing queries, store procedures, SQL server management studio, EDW experience-understanding structure and concepts
• Source to target mapping, identified data elements, how it is modeled
• Understanding of data models: 3rd normal form, Node SQL, Star schema
