Overview:
The Senior Director of Client Success will join a team of 100+ purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Director of Client Success will provide guidance and leadership to a team of frontline Account Managers. You will develop account strategies that will allow your team to anticipate your client's needs, understand what drives their success, challenge them to think differently and provide highly valued business insight to enable them to win and serve. This role reports to the Executive Vice President of North American Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • A high-performing individual who will help us meet our client retention and growth targets by maximizing the account management team potential, crafting client success plans, and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

  • Leads a team of account management professionals responsible for renewing and growing relationships within our client base.

  • Ensures that each team member meets their monthly and quarterly activity, development, and revenue goals.

  • Helps drive upsells for NSLS products to existing client portfolios and maintains existing relationships to secure renewals.

  • Achieves overall team revenue goals.

  • Coaches and motivates individual team members.

  • Develops a high-performing team culture.

  • Prepares team members for current and future opportunities.

  • Recruits, hires, onboards, and develops new team members for future growth.

  • Analyzes sales forecasts, pipelines, and data to determine appropriate actions to meet revenue goals.

  • Collaborates with other NSLS departments and sales teams to expand business.

  • Utilizes NSLS CRM system and sales methodology.

  • Advises reps on accounts, answer questions, and assist when necessary.

  • Supports reps with preparation and assist with presenting to existing clients of NSLS products and services.

  • Manages the department as a business with appropriate expense and budget controls.

  • Assists your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers' needs and mapping them to the value of NSLS.

  • Participates in client-facing AM meetings in order to provide coaching opportunities for reps, as well as client engagement and feedback; partners with sales operation to further define a successful and repeatable account management process.

  • Identifies and makes recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity.

Characteristics

  • Leads by example within the organization and promote a positive attitude and environment.

  • Receives sales leadership coaching to ensure alignment to overall team strategy.

  • Develops and guides team members to reach or exceed their full potential.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years sales or account management experience.

  • 5+ years of Sales or account Management leadership.

  • Experienced building strategic sales and account management strategies.

  • Consultative selling experience via remote and in-person settings.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred.

  • History of documented revenue goal attainment, including account renewals and upsells.

  • The ability to coach and motivate individual team members.

  • Experience working with college students and administrators strongly preferred.
