Roles Overview: NetEase Games is looking for a Senior UX Designer to craft beautiful and usable user experiences across several different games (Strategic/RPG/FPS/ACT/MMO/CAD). With a user-centric mindset, you will define the structure, layout, and wireframes of game features, present your creative designs to project teams and lead the way in our AAA development initiatives. You will be supported by NetEase's worldwide UI department, reporting to the Experience Design Lead, and will closely cooperate with Producers, Artists, Designers, and Engineers across the different products. Objectives & Responsibilities -Take part in the business analysis phase regarding each game's usability/navigation considerations. -Collect requirements, identify design problems, and suggest elegant solutions. -Set up the UX direction and guidelines, presenting each of these orally and on paper. -Contribute to the game’s main structure and logic, design values, gameplay, systems, basic interface, economic systems, etc. -Lead, collaborate, and iterate with the Studio Director as well as all project teams on the implementation of your suggestions. -Work with User Research Manager and other team members to solicit feedback. -Design and create an effective workflow and methodology, guide and supervise the design process, and establish a clear and effective design system. -Coordinate with each department to ensure the optimal use of the project's resources.

Requirements -More than 5 years of solid and proven working experience in game UX design -Solid experience in building and improving UX systems from conception to release to ensure an optimum player experience in line with the creative direction. -Proficient in using different game design software, including Figma, XD, or other design software. Knows how to create and manage a design system and design documentation. Ideally can also work in in-engine such as Unity and Unreal to implement changes. Eager to learn new ideas, techniques, and trends to help the game development. -User-centered mindset; Ambitious about creating top-level online game products. Passionate about the gaming industry and a fan of strategy games. -Strong sense of responsibility. Quality-oriented, and able to resolve problems despite obstacles, ensuring the best possible experience for the player -Able to adapt to change and can meet different production demands and styles with great communication skills, and understanding of how to present an idea with impact and influence. -A team player, can establish a good relationship with different teams to help improve the effective collaboration between different functions and inspire people to work closely together towards the same goal. Desired Qualifications: -Experience in the AAA industry; -Familiar with the habits of gamers from North America and Western Europe, and how to leverage and improve on established conventions.
