• Design and deliver database security solutions in both on-premises and cloud infrastructure based on relevant security standards, governance, and control practices
• Assist with day-to-day administration operations of the IBM Guardium environment
• Assist in the coordination and completion of security standard, process, and procedure documentation related to the IBM Guardium environment
• Assist with troubleshooting of the Client's IBM Guardium environment
• Assist with Guardium data discovery and classification of sensitive data including PHI, PII, and PCI
• Provide direction and guidance in the day-to-day operations of IBM Guardium environments
• Monitor security environment, identify security gaps, evaluate, and implement enhancements related to the IBM Guardium environment
• Provide informal Guardium knowledge transfer to clients
• Perform other duties as requested, related to the IBM Guardium environment
• Assess the effectiveness of security controls and recommend adjustments
• Conduct technical research when necessary to contribute to setting security direction and strategy
• Assist others on own team, or other teams where applicable, on all security projects or security-relevant tasks on technical projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc OR equivalent work experience
• IBM Guardium certifications are a plus
• 3+ years’ experience implementing and administering IBM Guardium
• Familiarity with data governance regulations concerning PHI, PII, PCI, etc
• Technical depth with Guardium data classifier (sensitive object discovery)
• Experience working with major database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Db2
• Relative experience working with Linux, AIX and Microsoft Windows Server
• Excellent verbal, written communication, documentation and consultative skills
