Overview
A federal client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to support their Corporate HQ’s proposal activity. This position will be REMOTE with occasional travel to the office in Arlington, VA!
The ideal candidate will be a multifaceted professional with the ability to manage, develop content, and perform light desktop publishing of strength-based proposals at a growing small business.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
- Effectively work remotely and occasionally attend strategic meetings at HQ
- Prepare compliance matrices; creating and maintaining a proposal calendar; convening and facilitating kick-off and subsequent proposal meetings; assembling proposal submissions; and organizing information throughout the proposal lifecycle
- Perform light desktop publishing in support of strength-based proposal development at a growing small business
- “Shred” proposal and market research solicitations issued by the government and create compliance matrices and/or annotated outlines to support response development
- Collaborate with technical staff and adopt archival material to write compelling RFIs and proposal response sections, which meet solicitation requirements
- Convert technical or management solution material drafted by others into a complete, compelling, and compliant proposal response
- Collaborate with technical staff to elicit and document program activities and create an archive of past performance material, for use in proposal past performance sections
- Build a library of approved, reusable RFI and proposal content
- Work with others to conceive and prepare infographics, flowcharts, and other graphic elements in support of proposal responses
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proposal development experience (e.g., writer, coordinator, manager, etc.)
- Familiar with or engaged with APMP
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Management or a related discipline
- APMP foundation level training highly preferred, not required.
