About Lark:
Lark combines a multitude of essential collaboration tools in a single interconnected platform, including chat, calendar, content creation, cloud storage, and app management. Lark makes it easy to stay in sync and access these tools from one to the next.

Responsibilities:
As a principal architect, you will design and architect the next generation of business applications in our Lark platform. You will be expected to:

• Drive practical architectural solutions and designs for a large-scale global SaaS service and establish north star guidance
• Remain knowledgeable about the ever-changing and improving building blocks of the ByteDance Lark stack and create new solutions and experiences for our customers
• Write high-quality reusable code, as well as iterate towards the best developer experience
• Participate in recruiting efforts to bring top talent to the team
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Advanced Sciences or equivalent alternative education, skills and/or practical experience
• 10+ years of professional software development and architecture design experience in building cloud-based SaaS applications
• Strong technical skills including understanding of object-oriented programming & design, algorithms, database concepts & performance, sql/no-sql technologies, and microservice architecture
• Excellent cross-group/organization collaboration skills
