Job description

We are looking for a few more experienced servers to work in a lively downtown brewery and full-service restaurant. Events and conventions have begun and we are looking for candidates ready to work with our experienced staff, ready to handle high-volume in individual sections with a team approach. Our service staff represent the quality of our craft beer and food and make up the backbone of our local operation. Red Rock has been in operation for over 27 years, come and be part of a long-lasting Salt Lake City mainstay. Pay estimate is based off base wage + tips

Responsibilities:

• Setup sections and prepare for the shift
• Running side work to ensure the restaurant is prepared
• Know the menu and daily specials
• Greet guests in a prompt manner
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Work as a team with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills:

• Proven restaurant serving experience
• Hands on experience handling cash and other payments
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Teamwork and communication
• Craft beer knowledge or a willingness to learn
• Experience with ALOHA or similar POS systems a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
