Overview (Text Only): Summary Operate and manage the newly formed Delta Tech Bar. Tech Bar Engineers will provide end users assistance through personalized walk-up Q&A or resolving technical issues via an incident management queue. The Delta Tech bar will initially provide end user support in parallel with the enterprise roll-out of Office365. Additional support for Delta’s end-user compute technologies will be included in the scope of the Tech Bar as O365 becomes fully deployed. This scope will include support services for Windows 10, MacOS, software management and general EUC support. Engineers will follow Delta IT’s established incident and change management SLA’s and ensure compliance working closely with Delta IT Engineering, Enterprise Application and Field Support teams.

Summary
Operate and manage the newly formed Delta Tech Bar. Tech Bar Engineers will provide end users assistance through personalized walk-up Q&A or resolving technical issues via an incident management queue. Responsibilities:
- Tech Bar System Engineer Initial Scope:
- Office 365 Application Support.
- Provide intermediate and advanced support for Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Skype, etc.).
- Provide support for Exchange Online and OneDrive following Delta’s established guidelines.
- Support O365 migration and assist resolving technical issues.
- Adherence with Delta IT incident management standards.
- Future Tech Bar Responsibilities (may include)
- Windows 7 general support
- Windows 10 general support.
- General MacOS Support
- Office 365 and OneDrive Support on MacOS.
- Assist users with ‘how-to’ questions as Delta migrates off Windows 7.
- Resolved OS technical issues including driver and application compatibility issues.
- Provide Patch Management analysis and assist resolving discovered security vulnerabilities.
- Remote troubleshooting reviewing and analyzing event logs and application log files.
- Mobile device support (iOS & Android).
- Assist Delta EUC Engineering and Enterprise Application teams as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree related to field and/or equivalent IT experience required.
- 5+ years of proven technical experience supporting end-users in a large global corporate environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Understand Office365 infrastructure.
- Proficient with Windows 7/10 operating systems and associated technologies in a corporate managed environment.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT processes, general controls, and project management and system development life cycles
- ITIL Foundation Level certification preferred or demonstrate knowledge of processes.
- Industry related technical certificates are a plus or any similar combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to interact with end user clients and team members across the organization.
- Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- MacOS/iOS/Android experience a strong plus.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow for incident management.
- Familiar with remote control/remote support tools.”
