The role of the Service Technician is to perform inspections & fiberglass composite repairs on wind turbine blades while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. Including customer relations at the site level, quality of craftsmanship, and job reporting to Supervisors and Project Managers.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform blade repairs according the specified instructions
- Prepare applicable service documentation including details of repairs
- Perform inspections and communicate with LM Wind Power staff appropriately
- Ensure site rules, regulations and procedures are being followed at all times
- Track and document hours daily to ensure accurate accounting for payroll
- Plan travel to and from job location daily -
- Arrange travel and lodging to and from various job locations to arrive on expected start dates
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 2 years of composite blade repair
Desired Characteristics:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Must have strong communication and computer skills
- Must be able to work at heights 250 feet above the ground
- Must be able to travel domestic and international for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb and remain standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work outside in variety of weather conditions.
