SharePoint Network Shared drive Migration Engineer

Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of SharePoint Architect / MPP technical lead

Develop scripts, run migration tool etc.

Plan migration schedule, coordinate with customer on schedule

Conduct Migrations; initial and differential

Collecting Migration telemetry data for reporting purposes

Review post-migration results

Coordinate customer acceptance and cutover

Produce close-out documentation

Skills and Experience (Minimum of 2 years)

Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.

In-depth understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy and Active Directory Domain Services ,SharePoint Online/Office 365.

Experience in Windows Virtual Desktop

Strong experience in some of the following DevOps tooling: Azure ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, DSC, Azure Automation

Understanding of Application Architecture concepts

Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools

Azure File Storage Migration e.g. scripting Robocopy

SharePoint Migration tools (SPMT) with strong PowerShell scripting

Power BI for visualization of Migration activities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Computer networking: 1 year (Preferred)
• LAN: 1 year (Preferred)

Security clearance:

• Confidential (Preferred)
