Position Summary
This role of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Control Coordinator is located in Lufkin, TX, and is responsible for all inbound receiving of merchandise and outbound shipments from the Lufkin facility, and serves as the primary logistics agent for domestic and international freight movement. This position plans, coordinates and executes Twinco freight shipments in accordance with customer directions and in compliance with TDI and DOT regulations. Working independently, the Coordinator controls arrangements with freight carriers, forwarders, and third-party logistics companies, and is responsible to ensure shipments and documents meet specific U.S. and International requirements. This position verifies delivered items, ensure items are stored correctly, and processes returns. This position is the central liaison between customer, carrier and forwarder. This position oversees inventory control processes and procedures to ensure overall inventory accuracy.

Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree in Business or Business Logistics related field or equivalent experience.
- Traffic or shipping logistics experience required. 3 to 5 year experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP based system. Experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One, preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills to work with people in various departments and levels of the organization, external customers, freight companies, and forwarders.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform work independently without direct supervision.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Primary open office environment with some shop floor presence required.
- Environment is fast paced with ever changing demands and priorities from both internal and external customers.
- General knowledge of DOT regulations as they pertain to freight carriers.
- General knowledge of Banking terms as they pertain to Letters of Credit and Bank Drafts.
