Job description
To provide a responsible position to monitor moveable equipment (wheelchairs, beds & stretchers) for terminal cleaning, inspections and enter work orders for faulty equipment. Daily retrieval of IV pumps, feeding pumps and PCA pumps for cleaning and verify working order. To log equipment and perform scheduled maintenance per reports from Plant Operations and to search for misplaced equipment. Works closely with Plant Ops and Biomedical to follow up on work orders.
Dual position, cross trained in par supply tech, to receive supplies, equipment & monitor outgoing shipments. This position as receiver, correctly verifies packing lists to product against Purchase Orders, assists in the daily issue of supplies via pick tickets and delivery of items from general storeroom. Maintaining a clean & tidy receiving area and restocking shelves as required upon receipt, putting away supplies in correct bin locations. Assists in the counting during semi-annual inventories. Documents shortages in shipments and damaged goods and reports to buyer for follow-up. Cross trained to assist in other positions in the department as required.
