Overview:
The Site Supervisor - Monticello (Program Coordinator I) will oversee the operations for the USU Monticello Site. This includes but is not limited to student support, classroom operations, and community outreach. They work under the guidance of the Distance Education Coordinator at the USU Blanding Campus. This position is located in Monticello, Utah.
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule part-time employee’s schedules and oversight
  • Schedule classes to classrooms for Interactive Video Broadcasts (IVC) and Zoom.
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Student Support Services
  • Testing services: proctor exams and retrieve materials from Materials And Testing Services (MATS)
  • Registrations and general advising support
  • Student recruitment/retention
  • Community involvement and engagement
  • Resource Development
  • Collect and analyze data; prepare reports; and maintain statistical information.
  • Keep confidentiality with student and staff issues
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree plus two years of related work experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education plus experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal skills
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Skilled at records maintenance.
  • Ability to lead and train part time staff and/or students.
  • Ability to interact with students, faculty, and/or staff in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
  • Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
  • Program-specific knowledge, skills, and abilities as described in recruitment notice.
  • Ability to exercise a high level of creativity, decision making, problem solving, and discretion as work is varied and may be undefined.

Employees typically work in an office environment and are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
