This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position.
The College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) at UND is looking for a student Social Media Coordinator. This position is for an emerging leader representing CNPD and is expected to maintain a level of professionalism at all times by being responsive and on time, appropriately dressed and maintaining a positive, friendly attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media calendars and strategies for CNPD's social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Develop strategies to increase the exposure of college social media
- Keep up with social media content
- Communicate with current students, alumni and faculty to create social media content
- Assist with college photography needs and photo editing, as needed
- Assist with college event set-up and promotion, as needed
Requirements & Competencies
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award for the relevant term
- Student must be pursuing a major or minor in Communications, Marketing or a related field at UND
- Strong writing skills to effectively create and distribute content
- Strong oral communcation skills to share information and ideas
- Experience with social media accounts and how they operate: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- Experience with photography and photo editing
- Use/experience with analytics is a plus
- Successful completion of criminal history records check
Work Location
- CNPD Dean's Office in the Nursing building
Hours & Schedule
- Starting compensation: $12 / hour ; Part-Time; Non-Exempt/Exempt; Non-Benefitted, Federal Work study only
- Hours per week: Less than 20
- Schedule is flexible
