The role of Asembia-1 Software Business Development Specialist will require a candidate who can quickly learn the features and benefits of our solutions, what differentiates our solutions, and dive right into building relationships with our clients and potential clients to communicate the opportunities that come with an Asembia partnership. An individual with a positive outlook who is enthusiastic about promoting technology innovations is a must. Job Scope and Major Responsibilities:*

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, conference/trade show attendance, and networking
  • Present and demonstrate our company software to potential clients
  • Provide timely responses to clients and potential clients
  • Create and manage pipeline of prospects
  • Grow and manage existing business
  • Share client feedback with the team on opportunities for growth & enhancement of our technology solutions
  • Use company tools to update team on status of all leads
  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and face-to-face meetings with clients and potential clients
  • Liaise communications with contracting team
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended (“HIPAA”)

Minimum Qualifications:*

BA/BS degree, MBA a plus

  • Candidate must have exemplary customer service, meeting sales goals, and prospecting skills.
  • Minimum of 5+ experience in SaaS software sales or sales within the pharmacy industry with a proven track record for success.
  • Must be able to travel 50-75% of time nationwide.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and develop pipeline of prospects.
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Competent in use of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
