GGS is looking for a Mid-Level Software Development Engineer with a passion for learning and keen on helping us build the next generation of Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems. TECHNOLOGIES WE USE: Our primary platform is written in Elixir and has an Elm frontend, but we are currently using a variety of additional languages and technologies to deliver our services including:

Minimal Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience • 2+ years of software development experience working in an Agile environment • Ability to write high quality, clean code which adheres to internal architectural, quality and security standards. • 1+ years of experience creating software with Elixir or other functional languages • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (integration and unit tests) as part of feature delivery • A strong desire to learn new things and solve problems

COMPENSATION Generac Grid Services is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role based in Denver, Colorado is $93,000 - $125,000 USD. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term incentives that may consist of the following: annual incentive plan, sales incentive plan, sign-on bonus, and equity grants depending on the role and level. This position includes a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans; life, long-term disability, flexible spending and health savings accounts, accrued paid time off, 8 paid Holidays and 401(k) retirement benefits.
