    Senior Software Engineer

    Pay: $65-$72/hour (W2) or $75-$85/hour (1099)

    Start Date: 7/01/2022

    Contract Length: 6 months

    Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)


    Hospitality company is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team! The Senior Software Engineer will assist with product development initiatives and is skilled with front-end and/or back-end development.


    Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:

    • Analyze requirements, Develop front-end software

    • Develop back-end software

    • Develop automated tests

    • Develop automated deployment process

    • Provide Tier 3 production support

    • Participate in architecture reviews and technology standards definition

    Requirements for the Senior Software Engineer:

    • B.S. preferred in Computer Science or related discipline such as Software Engineering, Architecture or Technical Operations

    • 4+ years of experience in a full-time development role

    • Previous experience as a tech lead or team lead, mentoring junior developers

    • Experience in Java, Ruby on Rails, Adobe CQ5 and DAM, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, Jenkins, Cloud Foundry, OpenStack, and Selenium

    • Strong Agile experience preferred

    • Hospitality experience preferred
