Join a passionate, dynamic team responsible for creating content to help users discover all the things they love about their Apple products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team building new frameworks and applications that serve educational content to hundreds of millions of users across the Apple ecosystem. The Instructional Products team is looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong multidisciplinary, technical background, to lead a team building software for all of Apple's platforms.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team. Ability to provide guidance, direction and supervise the day-to-day function of a team of Software, Data, and ML Engineers.
  • 5 or more recent years of professional work experience in software engineering, building customer facing applications using Objective-C and/or Swift.
  • Demonstrated ability to scope, schedule and resource multiple complex projects in collaboration with other cross functional partners.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive, with outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional influencer with experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching.
  • Some working knowledge of core concepts related to Machine Learning/AI and Data Engineering.

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and driving execution of multiple simultaneous engineering initiatives. Your ability to inspire team members, work closely and build relationships with cross functional teams, and ability to deliver high quality projects on time will be the keys to your success.

Education & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - 3 or more years working in an engineering management capacity.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,000 and $299,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
