Principal Purpose of Job:
The Spa Housekeeper is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of Devil’s Thumb Ranch. The Spa Housekeeper is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Ranch Creek Spa facilities in accordance with DTR standards and protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Always maintain a professional standard. Uniforms and nametags must be worn.
• Follow housekeeping procedures for public areas
• Knowledge of treatment rooms and services available in each room
• Knowledgeable of the ranch
• Restock supplies in waiting areas, locker rooms, and treatment rooms
• Remove dirty linens from locker rooms and restock
• Prepare lockers for guests, including removal of dirty sandals and robes, and replacing with clean robes and sandals
• Responsible for washing dirty dishes, sandals, facial cloths, and uniforms as well as putting dishes away, hanging uniforms, and folding linens as needed
• Adhere to safety practices and policies
• Participate in monthly spa meetings, spa training and team building exercises
• Extensive knowledge of retail products
• Cleaning includes but is not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal, and disinfecting high touch areas
• Responsible for the cleanliness of all restrooms, treatment rooms, dispensaries, break rooms, locker rooms, and all spa common areas
• Responsible for helping receptionists with greeting and checking guests in during high volume times as needed
• Report to Spa Supervisor and Spa Manager for daily projects
• Flexible schedule, available afternoons, weekends, and Holidays

Other Duties:
The employee is not limited to the above responsibilities and may be required to perform other duties throughout the property.
Requirements:Personal Attributes:
Friendly, personable, ability to multi-task, a good communicator (verbal and written). Must be able to work quickly either alone or in a team environment. Trustworthy and able to work under minimal supervision at times. Attention to detail. Willingness to complete the job thoroughly and correctly the first time. Able to work well as a team and work harmoniously with other colleagues.
Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Education/Experience:
Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required
Special Skills/Equipment:
Must be able to use all equipment and tools necessary to provide services.
Wage Range:
$17/hour
