JOB SUMMARY:
Primary contact for sales reps for custom tray quotes. Generate quotes, revisions and updates for custom kits. Provide product support for Sales Reps. Identify, document, implement process improvements for continued high quality service to our Sales Representatives and Customers. First point of escalation for Account Representative staff.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Territory Management:
- Cross-reference current customer kits and provide quotes for exact competitive crosses as well as uncover Medline preferred opportunities
- Facilitate sample requests with the sample room
- Ensure accurate quoting and item set-up
- Act as the primary contact for product support questions
- Process Improvement:
- Identify, document, implement process improvements for continued high quality service to our Sales Representatives and Customers
- Accurately diagnose issues, develop solutions and implement action plans
- Collaborate with master data, sample room, production control, and additional departments as needed on initiatives and future state goals
- Testing system enhancements (UAT testing)
- Promote collaboration between other departments in order to drive process improvement initiatives
- Present, as needed, across division on process improvement projects
- Account Rep Support:
- Act as the first point of escalation for account rep team
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members
- Work with other Account Reps to assist with any requests via phone and/or email
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 2 years of experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Additional
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel. (Specifically VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling.
- Experience in controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.
- Experience in processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Medline or similar industry experience.
- Previous experience positively leading or influencing others to accomplish team objectives.
- Working knowledge of Access, AS400, SAP.
