Sr. Cloud Engineer (hybrid/local remote)

Tandigm Health is looking for a Sr. Cloud Engineer in the greater Philadelphia area, to help support our mission of positive disruption in healthcare!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Technical Operations, the Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for working with Azure infrastructure, hosting servers, networks, applications, data warehouse systems, and other integrated systems in a regulated, healthcare data environment.

• Maintain and design as needed Tandigm's software-defined core network leveraging existing Cisco (SD-WAN, vManage, vBond and Umbrella, Virtual ASA Firewall) and Microsoft Azure (Network Security Groups, Application Service Groups, Azure Firewall) technologies in tandem with 3rd party Managed Service Providers.
• Maintain and design as needed Tandigm's physical Cisco network infrastructure (Firepower Threat Defense firewalls, switches, routers and Wireless Access Points) for Tandigm corporate offices (1 to 2 locations)
• Work to build relationships with development teams to understand the applications, code, data, dependencies, and the infrastructure on which they run
• Develop and maintain the proactive monitoring and management of cloud infrastructure (Production and Non-Production environments) and the build/deployment processes
• Design and engineer the DevOps CI/CD tooling and platform roadmap and own the lifecycle of these platforms
• Work through integration of DevOps with infrastructure and automation orchestration tools using Azure DevOps, ARM, and Terraform
• Ensure all services, applications, and code are hardened and security best practices are followed during the automated CI/CD and QA processes
• Work with business partners to establish business continuity and disaster recovery plans and automated failover for production cloud systems
• Work with internal teams, vendors, and integrated data exchange partners to ensure cloud and SaaS environments are optimized for cost, performance, reliability, and scalability

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or Azure Certification or Solution Architecture Certification preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of direct experience with DevOps in Azure, managing and deploying reliable cloud architecture, or relevant experience in Information Technology
• Expertise in continuous integration, continuous deployment, application performance monitoring, and alerting systems
• Experience in multiple scripting languages and build tools (PowerShell, Bash, ARM and Terraform, JavaScript)
• Strong cloud automation experience (Terraform, ARM, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Expertise in relational and NoSQL data platforms configured for high availability and redundancy in collaboration with Database Administrators
• Experience supporting mission critical Windows (required) and LINUX (desired) systems at scale
• Experience in supporting and building containerized workloads (Docker, EKS, Kubernetes) preferred
