What Ops Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Maintenance is responsible for managing the service life of company assets which is inclusive of physical building and utilities, manufacturing/ warehouse equipment and tooling, office devices and physical layout of facility. This responsibility is completed through the management of appropriate internal and external resources as needed to ensure the dependable and safe operations environment necessary for a given Cardinal facility. This group has responsibility for both corrective and preventative maintenance and the necessary systems to manage, schedule and record this activity.
Accountabilities
- Conducts activities necessary to maintain and troubleshoot production and facilities equipment, including but not limited to Preventative Maintenance and resolving equipment downtime
- Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issue
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Supports the team in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignments
- May provide technical guidance and training to others
- Performs technical tasks related to data collection and execution of engineering testing
- Assists with execution of process & equipment validations
- Support analysis of process performance through observation, process time studies, task/motion
- Support analysis for identification of improvements and balancing opportunities
- May be required to support new or revised processes and have a role in the implementation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2-4 years maintenance experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
- Good written & verbal communication skills preferred

- maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues

- Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
- May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
