Sr. RECRUITER | Indianapolis, IN or Houston, TX
YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics is looking to hire a Corporate Recruiter located in either Indianapolis, IN (Plainfield) or Houston, TX. The Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment and selection process of candidates for warehouse, administrative, clerical, sales, professional, technical, management and industry specific positions in an assigned region to support the strategic direction and growth objectives of the company, attract and retain qualified candidates and ensure compliance with company policy and employment laws and regulations. Spearhead Recruitment projects; working closely with HR team to align with business needs. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Develop business partnerships with internal customers, and internal and external sources to effectively plan for and project future staffing needs.
Ensure all recruiting is performed in compliance with company policy and employment laws and regulations.
Consult with hiring managers to understand business and recruitment needs.
Work with hiring managers to evaluate current talent and develop recruiting plans.
Post jobs internally and externally using an appropriate venue for attracting qualified candidates.
Source qualified and diverse candidates through direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, job fairs and college programs to meet operational staffing needs.
Ensure applicants satisfy job qualifications and company standards.
Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to probe for job-related characteristics.
Process applicants through the Company's hiring process, including informing candidates of job requirements; conducting reference checks; preparing summaries of candidate’s strengths and weaknesses for subsequent interviews; coordinating subsequent and final interviews with hiring managers; extending employment offers; providing drug testing information to candidates; and coordinating start dates with appropriate supervisors.
Utilize the applicant tracking system and application files in accordance with EEO requirements and company policies and procedures, to enhance the identification, tracking and reporting of qualified candidates.
Assist the Corporate Recruiting Manager in the preparation of statistical recruiting reports and related trend analysis.
Coordinate and attend local and out-of-town recruiting functions as needed.
Ensure new employees are on-boarded in a timely and efficient manner.
Coach and train hiring managers on interview skills and employment laws and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Degree or GED required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum three years broad recruiting experience.
Minimum two years in full cycle recruiting.
Two years as Human Resources Generalist preferred.
Certifications and Licenses: PHR Certification preferred.
Language and Communication Skills: Must be able to read, write, and communicate English fluently.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
Computer/Other Skills: Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in recruiting quality candidates.
Advanced knowledge and experience working with a recruitment/candidate management system.
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade candidate hiring decisions.
In-depth knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to perform recruitment related statistical computations.
Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
Must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multiple projects to meet deadlines.
