AlsoEnergy is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer, Full Stack with REACT to join our growing team. Also Energy provides the most comprehensive energy monitoring and financial management software solutions for renewable energy developers, manufacturers and investors who are establishing today’s clean-tech industry standards and best practices.
The position is responsible in contributing to the applications development of AlsoEnergy cloud base portal solutions. This position will be involved in delivering views and middle and backend layer components that our customers interact with daily. Continuous improvement of the platform to better serve our customer by analyzing navigation and interactions behaviors will also fall within the duties of this role.
Responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops applications, websites, mobile solutions, to support AlsoEnergy online platforms
  • Work with product management to develop solutions to real-world problems. Assist in gathering direct feedback from customers.
  • Assists the Technical Support team to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Responds quickly to customer requests and work closely with Support and other groups within the company on time-sensitive issues.
  • Interact, update, create RESTful APIs to support the needs of the presentation layer
  • Writing tested, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Assists with releases, QA, server maintenance, upgrades and deployment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Ember, React)
  • Experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS
  • Experience with writing ES6
  • 3+ years of experience with development utilizing C#
  • 3+ years of experience with development utilizing Microsoft SQL database.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems Git, including branching and merging strategies
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for agile Software Development
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Expertise in analysis, critical decision making, and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems

Work Environment:

  • Office Setting, primarily in cubicles
  • Moderate to high noise levels (i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, moderate traffic)
  • Ability to sit or stand (standing desk provide upon request) at a computer terminal for an extended period

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (talk/sign/type/write) and operate a computer, telephone (or alternative), keyboard (or typing device), etc.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required

This is a salaried exempt position, M-F, with additional weekend work as required.
Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00/annually
This position is REMOTE or based in Boulder, CO. relocation assistance available.
