Location: Queens

We’re looking for Staff Home Health Aides to be the heart of the care we provide our clients in the Whitestone, Bayside and College Point sections of Queens. As a Staff Home Health Aide with VNS Health Personal Care, you will provide exceptional care that our clients rely on to stay safe at home. All Home Health Aide (HHA) health-related task activities must be performed under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse and/or therapist utilizing a written care plan.

Requirements:

· Be at least eighteen (18) years of age

· Have a car and valid driver’s license

· Be available Monday – Friday (8:00 am - 8:00 pm) and every other weekend.

· Be willing to work on multiple short-hour cases (minimum 3 cases daily, mileage reimbursement offered)

· Be available to service clients in Bayside, College Point & Whitestone

Qualifications

· Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department approved HHA Training Program or Equivalency.

· Requires sixth (6) grade English reading comprehension, writing and math skill level.

· One (1) year of work experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Per diem

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
