Position description
Hiring for full and part time openings and for various shifts. Number of hours and specific shifts will be discussed at time of interview and offer. Openings at both St. Mary's Hospital and Rochester Methodist Hospital (Mayo Clinic).

Responsible for cleaning, disinfection, preparation, processing and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical supplies and equipment. Performs technical details according to written policies and procedures. Maintains expertise in all aspects of area activities. Monitors QA/QC activities and the physical environment. Participates in continuous improvement processes. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. On the job training is provided. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Additional qualifications
Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts. Occasionally lifting of 68 pounds.

License or certification
CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Tech) - New Union Hires will have 18 months to achieve certification and have a 2-year commitment from their start date.
