A neighborhood shop through and through. Opened in 2008 and still operated by the original owner, we pride ourselves on a having a very friendly and inviting shop with the widest selection of wine and spirits in the North Side. Our focus is always making sure people enter into a clean and well presented store and leave happy after shopping with us.

The Position

We're looking for a person to join our small but efficient team on the following 40 hour schedule;

Wednesday-Saturday 2-10pm and Sunday 1-9pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Stocking and Maintaining shelves to keep them full and presentable
• Accepting and storing away incoming inventory shipments
• Working the register when necessary
• Occasional local on foot deliveries
• Storage room maintenance and organization
• Greeting customers that walk in and if necessary assisting with recommendations or guidance

The Ideal Candidate

• Is motivated with strong organization skills with an ability to keep things consistently neat and fully stocked
• Is punctual and reliable, we're a small team and availability is key.
• Ability to get along with coworkers and maintain a positive work environment
• Has a basic or higher knowledge of wines and spirits
• The physical ability to move around a lot and consistently lift 50lbs

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience at a retail or hospitality environment
• Familiarity with Register POS systems
• Wine and Spirits knowledge a huge plus
• Weekends a must
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
