The Waupun Area School District is seeking substitutes for both regular and special education aides for all grade levels in all schools for the 2022-23 school year. This posting serves as on-going recruitment for the 2022-23SY substitute pool. The Waupun Area School District is a 4K-12 school district serving a population of 1900 students in South Central Wisconsin. Located conveniently on Hwy 151, Waupun is only 45 minutes north of Madison and 20 minutes south of Fond du Lac. WASD is home to four schools, including a charter school in Fox Lake. The Waupun Area School District consists of Meadow View Primary School (grades 4K-1), Rock River Intermediate School (grades 2-6), the Junior/Senior High School (grades 7-12), and SAGES Charter School (Fox Lake, grades 4K-6). Requirements of qualified applicants for special education aides will have post-secondary education with a minimum of 48 credits to be deemed 'highly qualified". The District may consider sponsoring selected candidates in obtaining their substitute special education program aide license. The Waupun Area School District is an equal opportunity employer.
