Tilden-Coil Constructors is seeking highly experienced Construction Superintendents with a minimum of 15 years of commercial construction experience for upcoming projects in the Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, and the Coachella Valley area.


The ideal candidate will have experience running DSA (Division of the State Architect) and commercial construction projects of $30 Million or more as the primary Superintendent. The right individual will love building and have a track record of safe and successful projects from the ground up through closeout.


Potential projects will be within our core markets of:
K-12, Higher Education, Institutional, Civic, Healthcare, Hospitality or Commercial Construction.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Tilden-Coil's core markets is required. (see above)
  • The ideal candidate will have experience running DSA (Division of the State Architect) and/or commercial construction projects of $30 Million or more as the primary Superintendent.
  • 15 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
  • Superintendent experience in every phase of construction & with all trades.
  • This individual must be able to manage and take responsibility for all field activities including subcontractors, vendors, Tilden-Coil Tradesmen, and inspectors.

Project Superintendent, Inland Empire

Tilden-Coil Constructors is seeking a project Superintendent with a minimum of 15 years of commercial construction experience for upcoming projects through the Inland Empire Region. This individual will be responsible for all field activities including subcontractors, vendors, Tilden-Coil Tradesmen, and inspectors.


Potential projects will be within our core markets of: K-12, Higher Education, Civic, Institutional, Healthcare, Hospitality or Commercial construction.


Key Responsibilities
(Not Exhaustive List)

  • Quality control including constructability review, bid document compliance, critical RFI and submittal review, water infiltration prevention, implementation of project specific QAQC process, MEP utility coordination, work to complete/punchlist management
  • Develop, maintain and drive the CPM schedule in P6 software
  • Ensure necessary daily manpower is maintained
  • Develop and drive material procurement
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Uphold safety programs and policies
  • SWPPP program maintenance
  • Document control including permit procurement, daily reports, preparatory meetings, regulatory compliance, written directives, foremen meetings, RFI/submittal review, and BIM coordination

Key Qualifications (Not Exhaustive List)

  • Effective communication skills
  • Recommended computer skills include: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.), Prolog Project Manager or equivalent, Primavera P6, Sage
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
  • Intermediate Spanish is recommended
  • Training and certifications in SWPPP (QSP/CISEC) preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial construction


Physical Demands: Exposure to construction related environment and weather. Include climbing, accessing elevated places and being in proximity to moving mechanical parts

Requires frequent bending, reaching, handling, sitting, standing walking and lifting 20lbs or more.
