General Summary:The Supply Chain Analyst is a subject matter expert for the Inventory Management team that should exhibit strong knowledge in replenishment theory, supply chain analytics, statistics, and system/tool operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that our replenishment system is operating effectively and our third-party replenishment partners are executing as expected. Delivery of test control analysis, implementation and design of new systems, and presentation of analytical projects are common deliverables within the role.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain tools and reporting that create efficiency and solve complex issues across the Inventory Management team. Knowledge of SQL, VBA, SAS and database design are often needed to complete such tasks. Write and maintain technical documentation for new and existing tools and reporting. Identify and manage opportunities to drive end-to-end supply chain efficiencies. Perform ad-hoc analysis and present key-findings and insights to leadership and cross-functional groups. Review weekly exception reporting, identify issues around store service-level and inventory targets, and develop and implement corrective action plans to ensure goals and objectives are maintained. Research and review system anomalies that are causing negative impact on KPI’s and recommend action for resolution Perform duties as an Inventory Management subject matter expert and liaison between Inventory Management and Logistics teams Assist in designing and testing system upgrades and tool changes that impact the Inventory Management team. Define and manage inventory hold and flow strategies that align with the company’s financial targets Other duties as assigned Position Requirements:
Office work environment, 40+ hours per week
Experience with Supply Chain systems and processes.
Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) databases a plus
Minimum Requirements:
Education: B.A. or B.S. in Economics, Math, Supply Chain Management or related business major
Experience: Three (3) or more years of related Supply Chain or Inventory Management experience.
Job-Related Skills: Strong statistical knowledge, proven ability to forecast, strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access, SQL, VBA, SAS
