Position Description: The Property Manager is responsible for effectively managing business operations of the community and working together with the onsite services team to support residents’ housing stability. This position would be working at the Balcones location.

**ELIGIBLE FOR SIGN ON BONUS OF $1,000**

Primary Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; use strong critical thinking skills to develop creative solutions to difficult issues
  • Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure high occupancy, quick response to service requests, and functionality of building.
  • Supervise staff including hiring, training, performance reviews, promotions and terminations
  • Enforce safety policies, regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all residents
  • Complete reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain expenses within approved budget parameters & assist in preparation of budget
  • Secure bids for repairs/improvements & work with vendors to complete projects
  • Gather and verify required documentation to meet program guidelines

Minimum Requirements

  • Practical experience required with at least 2 years in the industry or in a position of similar responsibilities
  • Leadership skills and understanding of effective management of personal development and career path

Preferred Requirements

  • Supervision experience
  • Certification through an accredited housing association
  • OneSite experience
  • Fair Housing training

Working Conditions

An occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials can be expected. May be asked to clean up bodily fluids with appropriate training and personal protective equipment provided.

Physical Requirements

CONSTANTLY: Walking or sitting, grasping/gripping, bending/stooping/squatting, finger dexterity, computer input, coordination of hand, eye and foot.

FREQUENTLY: Stand and climb stairs, reach above the shoulder, lift 5 - 25 pounds, climb ladders and do push and pull motion.

OCCASIONALLY: Reach above the shoulder, lift 5 – 25 pounds, climb ladders, and do push/pull motion.

Compensation

$61,000-$63,000 including quarterly bonuses & monthly commissions
