Job description

We are seeking a full-time Surgical Technician to join the team at our new practice, Great Basin Oral and Facial Surgery. This Surgical Technician must be self-motivated to promote the patient's overall oral health through fantastic communication skills with the patient, the doctors, and the entire dental team, and be willing to help promote the growth of our new office.

Requirements:

· Patient and practice focused

· Motivated by growth and teamwork

· Dental Assistant experience

· Surgical experience is a plus

· Excellent attendance record

Description of Duties:

Assist surgeons with surgical procedures in office as well as hospital treatments.

Help deliver treatment plans after Doctor's diagnosis.
Take 3D and 2D radiographs and intraoral pictures.
Prepare patients for appropriate procedures and give appropriate post operative instructions.

Monitor patients while on IV using sedation.
Set up and break down a room. Disinfect surfaces.
Sterilize instruments.
Educate patient regarding their oral health care and treatment plans.

Hourly Pay Rate: Depending on Experience

Work Hours: Five 8-hour days
