- Experience in project management (PMP, Agile, Lean, TQM or Six Sigma) strongly preferred
-3 years professional experience in project management, process improvement, change management or related discipline or 5+ years of relevant project management work experience
- Skilled in managing financial performance and achievement of goals and KPI's
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts responsible for leading projects within their respective function (e.g., OBS, IFS, Global Sustainability, Finance, Government Affairs, Global Clean, etc.) to develop comprehensive and impactful sustainability operational strategies, business plans, project plans, white papers, and presentations
- Build, develop and manage sustainability scorecards for monitoring progress toward targeted goals and corporate reporting. Mobilize relationships and resources to explore emerging opportunities and understand the landscape of near-term and long-term innovations that may allow us to reduce our environmental footprint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with colleagues across all levels and divisions of Delta and external business partners
- Proven ability to present programs to senior leadership that reflect a clear case for change, analytics, desired outcomes, accurate scope, timelines, clear roles, and responsibilities
- Ability to influence authority and navigate complex organizational dynamics
- Proven track record of independently driving business results
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing assignments

The Project Manager is a proven leader who is responsible for system-wide project management and execution of special programs system wide. These projects will focus on reducing our environmental footprint on board such as reducing waste and the sustainable sourcing of goods. A successful candidate will leverage innovative thinking and will bring a disruptive mindset and fresh perspective to the design and development of new business models. This role is responsible for mobilizing relationships and resources to explore emerging opportunities to achieve breakthrough results by using strategic thinking and collaboration. As a Project Manager, you will be expected to design and facilitate rollouts and have process engineering and change management skills to ensure successful completion of each initiative.
